Lear

This production is a spin on the world famous: Shakespeare’s King Lear. Set in the latter half of the 31st Century, our Lear is battling against the other tribes who strive for his throne in this post-nuclear fallout wasteland.

With only 20% of the human population remaining, scavenging and fighting is rife in this land. Set inside a disused power plant, Lears tribe experiences love, loss, pain despair and sorrow. Will Lear keep his crown? Or will the fractures in his mind be too much to bear?
